A return to silliness

During a sad time, there is nothing like a mischievous puppy to bring a smile back to one's face. A mischievous puppy with a sense of humour is even better.

What's the problem?

Aw come on, you can't be mad at this face.

Fine, you want me to look guilty? How's this?

Hee hee hee! Sorry. I can't keep a straight face.

The unfortunate part is that there was no room in the obedience class advertised in the pamphlet.

We'll miss you, Pop.

The dead they sleep...

The dead they sleep a long, long sleep;
The dead they rest, and their rest is deep;
The dead have peace, but the living weep.
~Samuel Hoffenstein

Pop made his choice. I am grieving, but I am comforted to know that he is no longer suffering.

He followed me home...

...and fell asleep with his head in my shoe. Can I keep him?

I know you won't believe this, since I hardly believe it myself, but it was Scott's idea to adopt Montana. You won't believe this either, since it's silly, but we did it for the dogs. The two pups enjoy each other's company so much that it was sad to think of separating them. Now, thanks to the generosity and understanding of the woman who was originally going to adopt Montana, we don't have to.
