If you have been following my blog for a while (I know I have), you may recall me mentioning the beautiful gate that Scott made for my birthday a couple of years ago. Here's a reminder:
This artistic streak must run in Scott's family. He asked his dad to make me a stained glass window. Together they worked on the design and chose colours and glass. Scott's dad has been working on this window for months (and with 200 separate pieces of glass one can see why it is such a lengthy and painstaking process).
They surprised me with this beautiful gift yesterday:
