Sweet dreams, Spider

It's never easy to say good-bye to a pet, not even one that stayed with Mom and Dad when you left home. I know this from first-hand experience. My heart goes out to Scott, whose cat Spider died last night. Spider was affectionate and vocal and he enjoyed a long and pampered life. He has left many fond memories behind.

Please give Scooter and his family our best. I met spider a few times in my life and I can say he was a fun cat to have around. I am sure the he'll be sorely missed.

I'm sorry to hear this. The loss of a pet is so painful. My sister told me about this poem after her cat died.

Thank you, M. family, and thank you, Rob. I know that Rainbow Bridge poem well. (The Humane Society sent me a copy of that poem every time I killed one of their kittens. Ahem.)

A pet IS a family member, so loosing one hurts just as bad. You have my sympathies.

Spider looked like a Siamese cat. They are so beautiful. I am sorry about his passing. How old was he?
Sorry for the 20 ?'s.

Yes, HAR, Spider was a Siamese cat. He was the runt of the litter and the most personable kitten in the bunch, so Scott chose him. He was named Spider because of his penchant for climbing. He was about 18 years old.
